Baby Names and Destiny

I'm often asked "How does numerology relate to your house number?"

Pythagoras understood that numbers have a "value" as well as a quantity and therefore the significant numbers in your life such as from your date of birth are a key to understanding your inner characteristics.

The number of your house is significant to you because you chose it, therefore it is not so much imposing its energy value on you, but rather resonating with those same characteristics within you. In a family home there will no doubt be a mix of personalities and energies from all who live within it. However, there is usually one person who's energy exerts their presence on all of the occupants and so it is not unusual for this to overlay the characteristics and energy of all in the household.

Numbers greater than 9 are first reduced to their single form to determine the overall "value". For example, the number 35 is reduced to a single digit by adding the 3 and 5 together to make 8. So a house number of 8 (or 17 or 26 or 35 etc..) all have the same basic "energy".

In this case the number 8 equates to being in control of your life, assertive, good with finances, although it can also indicate a domineering or controlling nature, where the energy is negative rather than positive. The people living in the house might be influenced in this way and take on either positive or negative aspects of this energy.

This is not the whole picture, because the individual numbers which make up the house number (in our example 3 and 5) also have an influence and so the 8 vibration is modified slightly to include the energy of the 3 and the energy of the 5.

The 3 being the first number will be more prominent and may add fun or activities related to the mind or perhaps mean that the domineering or controlling person in the household is also argumentative! The 5 will also add a component to this and either emphasise freedom and travel, where positive vibrations are experienced, or conversely someone might feel trapped and suppressed if one person is being domineering.

Where the same number is repeated such as in House Number 222, this will emphasise the effect of the 2 much more. In this case the number reduces to 6 emphasising the importance of the home and family in this house, as well as creativity. The triple 2's emphasising sensitivity and awareness of the environment in the home. In a negative aspect, this might indicate emotional turmoil or hypersensitivity.

House Names can also be reduced to a number and therefore the numerological "value" determined. This is done by converting each letter into a number by looking them up in the following table. So A = 1, B = 2 and so on.

Then the resulting numbers are added together and reduced down to a single digit. For example, the name 'DUNROMIN' would be equivalent to 4 + 3 + 5 + 9 + 6 + 4 + 9 + 5 = 45. This can be reduced further to the single digit 9 (i.e. 4 + 5 = 9). So the numerological value of 'DUNROMIN' is 9, which emphasises completion and endings. Interestingly, the choice of name suggests that the occupants have finished their travelling and they intend this to be their final home.

The following table lists the general meanings associated with each number. There is a positive and a negative side to each number, for example a 2 can indicate sensitivity and awareness to the feelings of others although it can also mean wearing others emotions and hypersensitivity to surroundings.

1 - Independence, strong minded, Egotism, selfishness

2 - Sensitivity, working in harmony with others, emotional, hypersensitive, touchy

3 - Fun, witty, mental agility, argumentative, anxiety, stress

4 - Organised, structured, obsessive, nit-picking, dogmatic

5 - Freedom, expansion, feeling trapped, hemmed in

6 - Home loving, creative, possessive, clingy, jealous

7 - Teaching, learning, difficulties, challenges

8 - Empowered, in control, assertive, financial astuteness, controlling, domineering, miser

9 - Completion, responsibility, caring, humanitarian, over protective, claustrophic, over-analytical

Overall, a person's own energy is generally stronger than the influence of a particular house and the other occupants in the house will also be a factor in the equation, as they all interact. So, while there is some relevance to studying the numerological value of the house you live in, your own personal energy is much more important and will by far outweigh the influence of the house.

However, where choice is available, such as in naming your home, then understanding the principles of numerology might help you to choose a name that aligns with your own personality and your own aims in life. Similarly, if you find yourself always living in the same numbered house, then there may be a hidden reason that is affecting your choice and numerology can help you get to the root of this.

The beliefs that names shapes the destiny has been around for thousands of years. In many culture, the names has the power and influence on the destiny of the baby. Discovering the true meaning of the names, you can discover potential of the names.
Destiny is a name in itself. The name is an old French or English name which means fate or fortune. The most common variations are Destanee, Destina, Destinia, Destine, Destinee, Destiney, Destini, and Destinie.
Destiny is more popular for female names. However, there are male names which sound similar. For example, Destin, Dustin, Dustyn, and Dustan sound similar.
In African countries, the baby is given two names. The first name is for public use, while the second name is kept secret. It is to ward off the evil. Since the evil spirits are unable to find the secret name, the evil spirits are unable to harm them.
For Romans, Names are destiny. In fact, there have a popular saying. It is Nomen est omen which literally means Names are destiny. During ancient Roman times, the soldiers with victorious names were chosen to be the leaders.
In ancient times, Europeans use the Runic Systems to understand the personality and attributes of the names. Runic Systems consist of Runic Alphabet or Symbol. Each symbol has a hidden meaning. First, the name is converted into a set of Runic symbols which tells deep understanding of the personality and attributes of the names.
In scientific research, the baby with terrible name experience low self confidence, lower school grades, and emotional problems in life. Scientifically, Robert, John, and Steve are more successful in life. However, there were unusual names which gained great success. Nowadays, the celebrities pick unusual names. Their babies may be as successful like them.
The destiny number can be extracted from the full birth name through numerology. Basing from the chart, you can get the numerical value for each letter. All the numerical values for each letter are added to form the total numerical values. For example, the total numerical value for Dennis is 29 (4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 9 + 1). Next, you reduce the total numerical until you get a single digit. For example, the next total numerical value is 11 (2 + 9). As you can see, 11 is still a double digit. So, we repeat the step. And, we get 2 (1 + 1). Therefore, the destiny number is 2.
The baby with destiny number 2 needs a great understanding of the people and surroundings. They will grow up as a people person, great communicator, and peace maker. They know how to deal with other people. The sensitivity to others feeling is a great asset to be a great philosopher, visionary, advisor, counselor, teacher, and coordinator.
The holy bible speaks of the importance of spiritual meaning of names. Particularly, the chapter 22 and verse 1 of Proverbs states that spiritual is better than great wealth. In short, the names are chosen for spiritual meaning rather than literal meaning. For example, Ariel literally means lion of God. Spiritually, Ariel means powerful leader.
Using Kabbalah, the Jewish analyzes the baby name to discover the deep understanding of the personality and spirituality. Jewish religion is based on ancient mystical philosophy called Kabbalah. Knowing the importance of the name, you can discover the fate and fortune.

The Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd recently announced a new date for the federal election – September 7th, 2013. What insights can numerology offer about this date?
Numerology is a practice that has been around for over 2500 years. It was a concept originally developed by famed mathematician Pythagoras. In numerology every number vibrates at a different frequency. This makes each number more suitable for some activities than others.
Let’s start by looking the energy of the date – September 7th, 2013. The overall energy of that particular day is four (universally). This is found by adding the calendar day to the universal month and reducing the numbers to a single digit. What’s interesting about this four day is that it’s 13/4 day, which is a karmic debt number.
Karmic debts are additional burdens people take on to repay a past debt by learning a necessary lesson. In the case of the 13/4 the additional burden relates to overcoming laziness through discipline.
From that point of view it’s a good chance for all of the political candidates running to put in the hard work to maintain order and follow the rules, which is what the four energy asks. They can do this by:
1. Being organized and disciplined
2. Paying attention to details
3. Showing us how they plan to build solid foundations for our future
This will not be an easy election. There will be struggles and extra work involved for everyone, with no easy shortcuts on offer. Any person or party that looks for the “quick fix” or the easy way out will be unsuccessful.
Australia has reached a point now where we want to continue to grow and develop as a nation. We’re looking for someone who can step up and be the leader who will fix what’s no longer working and improve upon what it.
The 13/4 energy of this election means that politicians will no longer be able to get away with making ridiculous unfounded promises they can’t back up. The Australian public will see through any hype to the substance and truth beneath. As a result the trust, rapport and believability of each party leader or independent candidate will play a big part.
This is where the six energy of both the year and the month of September will have an impact. The energy of the six is about nurturing and stepping up to take responsibility for the family, which in the case of federal politics, is the Australian people.
The six energy brings with it a strong sense of duty, and is a good number for business. This bodes well for the continued economic growth of Australia. Six is also a good month and year for tending to matters around the home (Australia).
According to a many political experts, the main issues that will determine the outcome of this election are:
• Asylum seekers
• Climate change
• Cost of Living (including carbon tax)
• Infrastructure (such as the broadband network, roads etc.)
• Healthcare
• Education
These issues all involve taking responsibility for fixing the things that are no longer working and expanding on the ones that are. This is how our standard of living will improve to make Australia a better place to live.
Another issue that may prove to play a role in the outcome of this election is that of same sex marriages. Marriage and divorce (as we saw in the case of the leadership spill earlier this year in June) are also associated with the six energy. It’s no surprise then that this issue is on the cards in a six year.
Taking all of this into account I believe the 7th September, 2013 is not the best date Kevin Rudd could’ve chosen for a federal election. Numerologically speaking, the 14th September, 2013 would’ve been a better choice.
However all is not lost. The winner will be whoever does the best job of proving they have realistic (and fundable) solutions for the issues that matter the most to the Australian public.
The lesson for this election is about who is willing to work the hardest for all Australians without taking costly shortcuts to build a strong foundation for our future.

Numerology & The Number 13 – Luckier Than You Think

Birth Number Seven [for those born on the 7th, 16th, 25th of any month] the day you 'died' in your last life is the date you 'returned' in this life!

In this life (the one you're living now) you'll display certain personality traits, some of which are: Intellectuality, skepticism, detachment, aloofness, and an emotional, sensitive, spiritual nature. Best Day: Use Monday as the day when you are more likely to be in touch with your inner reality. Lucky Colours: Pastels, whites, aqua colours, sky blue.

You have an affinity with people born in the astrological sign of Pisces, no matter what their year of birth and whenever you meet people born in this sign you must consider the possibility of having met them before, somehow, somewhere, in some other time. In this life you are sympathetic to the rights and needs of others but if you are not careful there is a tendency for you to become too involved in their lives and instead of helping them, you find yourself in the same boat!

Matters of spirit will dominate your thinking every so often - asking questions about the meaning of life will occupy many of your days and nights and being a sensitive (maybe even hiding your sensitivity under a mask of stoicism) sort of person you'll experience many extremes of temperament. At times you will be cheerful and optimistic and when you express this side of your nature, together with a degree of empathy and understanding for others who are in trouble or in difficulty, you will create considerable popularity for yourself and make much progress.

On the other hand, you can give way to extreme sensitiveness and allow yourself to feel hurt at the careless speech or thoughtless actions of others, with you hiding behind an air of apparent indifference. You can be refined, gentle, vague and imaginative, a dreamer of dreams that often become a reality.

Many people 'grapple' with the concept of having lived before (usually the life they lived was some wonderful existence with some kind of horrific death - there are so many who think they were murdered or struck down by the hand of an enemy) - very few consider dying naturally in bed as being their last life experience! In keeping things simple and using the analogy of dinner party conversations let's assume you are a female born on the 16th of September and you're introduced to a male born on the 5th March. To me, you've met before - you've lived together and enjoyed some kind of physical existence. It becomes fascinating when you talk about sex for in your last life (in this example you are the 16th of Sept) you were female and have returned as a female. The guy you've been introduced to (5th March) was a female in his last life and has returned to this life as a male! Therefore, the life you lived together was female to female (mother/daughter perhaps or sisters?) Have I got your attention or what?

We have free will and free to choose yet, we are fated in one way or another. Let me explain - when the incoming soul child chooses its parents it does so for a reason and the parents you chose for this life might or might not have been related in your previous life! Not all soul children choose parents out of love - some even choose out of revenge! Okay, that's got your attention for the parents you have are the parents YOU chose, no cop outs, no blame, no excuses so why?

Let's look at the word FATE (often referred to as destiny, outcome, chance or providence) we are all fated in one way or another yet, at the same time have free will! So, how come some have a better fortune than others? Is it because we chose better parents or circumstance? I don't think so for when we 'die' we don't necessarily become smart or all knowing! If you struggled with poverty in a previous life and never overcame it - you'd have no way of coming into this life as a millionaire! The only thing we take with us when we 'die' is knowledge - nothing else.

Life and its meaning are not just for Birth Number Seven to explore (although you will ponder over it more than most) life is for living and in the process acquiring knowledge...

Until next time, enjoy your dinner party conversations.

The number 13 has little to do with “bad luck,” despite the U.S. Navy, supposedly, avoiding launching ships on Friday the 13th and many Americans viewing the 13th and anything related to the number 13 as negative.
The association may be due to Jacques de Molay, the first Grand Master of the Knights Templar, being burned at the stake in 1314 on a Friday the 13th after a trial overseen by the King of France and Pope Clement V.
The number 13 has a bad rap largely due to its unusual qualities. In particular, 13 represents “all or nothing” through transformation pertaining to degeneration or regeneration. Symbolic death and rebirth is strongly associated to 13. An example of the representative power of the number 13 is transitioning from modest means to vast wealth.
There exist different forms of the number 13. For example, 211 isn’t a very fruitful 13. 409 isn’t either. However, 391 and 508 are considered auspicious. Note: simple add the digits together to yield one digit, like this: 5+0+8=13. Don’t fret if you have challenging 13 in your comprehensive charts. There very well may be mitigating energy to balance it out within the comprehensive patterns.
13 is considered a “Karmic Debt Number,” as are the numbers 14, 16, and 19. These numbers involve more challenging karma than other numbers.
The number 13 in key positions in a person’s numerology charts frequently symbolizes, depending upon the rest of the charts’ contents, the following energies: an irresponsible, lazy, immature, idle, trivial, extravagant disposition; lack of seriousness, or the opposite (one extreme or the other); rigidity; inefficiency; restriction; low vitality, etc. There is also the high side of 13, so keep in mind that the above qualities are only part of the picture.
Otherwise, in matters of love, the number 13 involving time cycles is solid and very often exceedingly fruitful.
In short, the number 13 isn’t any more unlucky than any other number. There exist negative and positive, and balanced, over- balanced, and under-balanced qualities for every number. Bad luck associated with Friday the 13th is just a misconception, fueled by fear and subjective viewpoints.

Making The Most Of Your Numerological Life Path – Part 2

Prior to years of comprehensive study and constant objective

empirical research through ancient metaphysical delineation

and predictive sciences (since 1992 involving the numerology

and astrology charts of over 20,000 different people), we too

mistakenly believed we could create anything our ego-selves

desired. Our studies and research allow us to conclude that an

extremely high percentage of everyone's major life circumstances

and particulars are unavoidably etched in the rock of fate.

We consistently and accurately outline key conditions and

experiences in anyone's future (provided we have all birth

data) including "gurus" who claim they are able to "consciously

create" 100% of their realities, matching their conscious

demands, as they live their lives.

Once you have witnessed, as we have, the continual recurrence

of patterns in the numerology and astrology charts completely

representing situations in peoples' lives, you will stop rejecting

the idea of fate.

An ideal love life, unlimited financial abundance, perfect health,

constantly harmonious personal relationships and more would

be nice, but we are now entirely certain that it "ain't gonna

happen" if it's not part of the path that your soul mapped out

before you incarnated.

For example, despite what you might see on TV about finding

a compatible romantic partner, like the best-selling author

promoting her book about finding the perfect husband in less

than a year ("I did it and you can too!"), everyone's karma is

different and what works for one person (because it fits his/her

karmic blueprint) may fail for the next (being outside of his/her

earthly plan).

"Learn valuable lessons about commitment and betrayal by

experiencing a difficult spouse? Forget it! Instead, I'll create

the perfect relationship!" "Endure a period of financial

limitations to learn about financial acumen? Nah, I'll create

infinite abundance now and forever live the high life!"

Unfortunately (for the ego-self), the universe doesn't work

that way. Dodging your fate isn't an option.

But let's not forget free will. You have free will to take the

right action at the right time, allow your earthly personality

to play its role in manifesting your destiny (including your

ego-self desires that align with it), react to your life

circumstances, and improve and influence your situation to

the best of your ability within the confines of your fate.

Along these lines, free will also enables everyone to help

shape their future lives through every thought, intent, and

action in their present lives.

If you want an ideal as possible relationship, you can exercise

your free will and do things to prepare for this. However, we

believe that even doing what feels right feels right because it's

part of your pre-destined path. You could do something that

isn't part of your earthly plan, such as drop out of society,

move to the wilderness and live off the land, but you probably

wouldn't because it doesn't feel right for you to do.

Perhaps most importantly, it would be nice if we could all

have "perfect love," but this would miss the objective of the

majority of our relationships on earth: personal growth. A

predetermined degree of challenge is necessary in order to

learn the lessons for which we incarnate.

As far as releasing your love karma through spiritual exercises,

this sounds like wishful, spiritual woo-woo thinking to us.

The only exercise we know of to do this is the exercise of

experiencing what you need to experience in real life. In other

words, forget the notion of being able to cheat fate, despite the

fact that most "love experts" suggest otherwise. We caution you

to be skeptical of spiritual solutions that appear to be quick fixes.

The good news is that you can ease, but not evade, your karma

by acceptance, forgiveness, and unconditional love. For instance,

you can't erase the lifelong disharmony between you and your

siblings, but you can lighten the load by how you view and react

to it.

Although not always easy, the best methods toward personal

and spiritual growth include the following: achieve self-

awareness so that you understand your highest path; take the

right action at the right time to manifest your destiny; embrace

all personal challenges including all difficult people as a

necessary part of the growth process; forgive yourself and all

others; love yourself and all others unconditionally; live your

life knowing that all energy you put out will eventually come

back to you; and know that you can't always get what you want,

but that every experience serves a valuable purpose.

Life Path 2 – The path of intuitive people, visionaries and self-taught persons.
It symbolizes a life of inspiration. This itinerary favors success, ambitious and original accomplishments. It can put you on a social, cultural, political or religious route, or into the role of a leader. More modestly, this path can be link with the ability to teach, an attraction for communication or persuasion.
You will be confronted by events that will encourage listening, psychology, intuition and some of your inner richness. However, it is necessary not to search for material success by egoism or pride; this would only bring difficulties.
The number 2 vibration is synonymous with inspiration, panache, knowledge, intelligence but also psychological ascendancy and creativity. These qualities must motivate you. If you are capable of altruism and good sense, this path can only be positive.
It will be necessary for you to develop well your ability for inspiration, inner listening (but without making hasty conclusions) and to cultivate a strong personality, capable of patience as well as rapid decision-making.
This balance will be indispensable for you and faced with others in order not to fall into the classical excess of this path: superiority complex, desire to dominate, intolerance, incoherence and disinterest in domestic obligations. Use the great energy of this vibration to advance in the right direction, to take on big responsibilities, to share your thoughts, knowledge and intuitions with others. Magnetism and sense of contact will be your assets on this route.
Famous people with a Life Path 2:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Coco Chanel, Benito Mussolini (here lived on the negative way).
Lessons to be learned, positive/negative characteristics about a life path 2 in Numerology.
Can be a good friend, naturally expresses love and friendship, sensitive to the feelings of others shows much consideration to others. Denies selfs material needs for others
The Lessons
A life path 2 must learn to cultivate his/her talents to contribute to a group relationship even though he/she may not receive adequate acknowledgment and thanks.
While having many good ideas the 2 should learn to pass them on and let others spread them, thus stepping out of the spotlight. The life path 2 should learn that the use of quiet persuasion is more effective than the use of trying to force ideas on others or the group in general.
The need here is to develop his/her sensitivities and group skills while learning to work effectively with others. The Negative Forces Within
Refusing to accept the part of subordinate and insisting on a leadership role will only result in confusion and ineffective guidance to the group as a whole. Thereby; a denial of soul growth through experience.
Control and balance of the life path 2’s sensitivity is the key to soul growth and development.

Soul Contract Readings reveal your truth through just your birthname. Soul Contract Readings are also called Soul Plan Readings.

The name you use in the world has an effect on all aspects of your life. It is relevant to the different lessons or challenges we experience on the physical and spiritual levels of our lives.

It can also have a bearing on our talents and gifts, how we use them and on the directions we feel drawn to e.g. creative pursuits, type of work or business, role in society or how to make a difference with others, relationships in our life, spiritual endeavours etc. A reading can clarify much for us in terms of the direction we should be taking given our talents. It also highlights the overall soul destiny for the individual. This represents an essential aspect that is also indicative of our highest potential and overall purpose.

A Soul Contract Reading is a remarkably powerful and accurate system of life purpose guidance, spiritual counselling and healing.

It provides interpretation of the contract your Soul has put in place to learn and grow during this life. It acts to confirm whether you are 'on track' and if in some aspects you are not, what new directions to take. It can also make sense of why certain things have happened the way they have in your life. It's like a life compass or map, providing clarity, direction and purpose. Many clients experience 'aha' moments due to the accuracy of the readings.

The numerology of Moses (despite the biblical name) is a system of non religious life purpose guidance. Individual readings are based on the sound vibration of your birth name (as it appears on your birth certificate). The name that we are given at birth holds the resonance of a certain sound which in turn attracts to us all that we need to experience in order to learn our lessons, achieve our goals and optimise our talents.

Readings for Children:

A Soul Contract Reading can also be beneficial for a child as it can help parents with a deeper understanding of any issues with their child, and why they behave in certain ways. This can then help to harmonize situations, understand family dynamics better, and have greater compassion. A reading will also show parents what their child's goals and talents are, thus this can assist when guiding them in which direction to take in life as they move into adulthood.

All in all, a Soul Contract reading is an uncanny way to find out what your Soul has in mind for you in this life. Armed with this deep soul-level information, life can begin to make real sense. The sort of sense where the choices you make going forward are aligned with your soul purpose, and thus feel right. How satisfying is that!

Although the exact origins of numerology are unknown, Chinese numerology is believed to be one of the earliest forms of numerology. It is thought that the origins of Chinese numerology date back nearly 4000 years to the banks of the Yellow River.
The tale that is told is that the first of the five mythical emperors of China, Wu of Hsai, was working on the banks of the Yellow River trying to find a method to prevent the floods that regularly devastated the communities located along the river. It was during the course of this work that Wu found a tortoise shell, which at the time was considered to be a very good omen.
This particular tortoise shell, however, was extremely rare, unique and special because it had fascinating markings on it. The shell showed a magic 3×3 square on its back that later became known as the Lo Shu Grid. The Lo Shu Grid was particularly remarkable because every row, column and diagonal on the grid add up to the number 15.
The number 15 was very significant because it is the number of days between the new moon and the full moon. Additionally, the number 5 was highly respected in ancient China, and was located in the important center square of the grid.
The Lo Shu Grid became the basis of Chinese numerology and is still used today in the Far East.
The grid took on a different adaptation in the West, and eventually over time Chinese numerology evolved into three different systems that are used today. There is the Western Version of Chinese Numerology, Traditional Chinese Numerology and the Ki system.
There is very little known about the origins of the Western version of Chinese numerology, although Hettie Templeton is credited with its popularization. Templeton taught classes and gave numerous public lectures and broadcasts throughout Australia during the 1930’s and 40’s. Her teachings helped Western Chinese Numerology gain the popularity it enjoys today, so most of the current information regarding this form of numerology comes from Australia and New Zealand.
The Western version of Chinese Numerology is by far the easiest of the three versions of Chinese Numerology to learn, and it is believed by many to be the most accurate. In fact, there are a large number of numerologists in China and Hong Kong who use the Western version rather than the traditional version of Chinese Numerology.
Chinese numerology uses only the numbers 1-9, and 0 is not included. Western Chinese numerology uses a square made up of 9 boxes – 3 down and 3 across. You can think of this square like a tic-tac-toe square or like a number sign (#) Each box in the square has a number from 1-9 associated with it. The boxes are numbered from 1-9 starting in the lower left square and moving up each column. So, from bottom to top in the first column would be 1,2,3, from bottom to top in the second column would be 4,5,6, and the last column from bottom to top would contain the numbers 7,8 and 9.
The numbers from a person’s date of birth are then input into these boxes one at a time. So for instance, if someone was born in the year 1966, they would have one 1 in the bottom left box, one 9 in the top right box, and two 6’s in the top middle box.
Depending upon how many of each number a person has in their grid, you can tell a lot about their strengths and weaknesses, their character traits and more.

Astrology’s Libra Lucky Days – Horoscope Modifiers From Numerology

The evening of December 9, 2008, here in Santa Fe, NM, Jose' and Lena Stevens presented a talk on the prominent trends they foresee for 2009. As they spoke, I was struck by how vividly their contemplative insights matched the signals broadcast by the major planetary patterns that characterize the coming years: the recent entry of Pluto into the sign of Capricorn until the year 2024, and the ongoing, dynamic opposition of Saturn and Uranus for next two years.

Virtually all professional astrologers appreciate the basic symbolism of these archetypal planetary movements and the profound death-rebirth, and restructuring processes that they herald for business, finance, government, and the general status quo of personal, household, community, national, and global systems. The themes Jose' and Lena Stevens articulated in their talk are distinctly reflected in the sky above.

The themes are also embodied in the numbers. Over the course of the evening at the trends talk, I had a chance to visit briefly with Deirdre Morgan, the gifted numerologist at Santa Fe Soul. Just seeing Deirdre spontaneously inspired me to process a basic numerological equation: The numbers of the year 2009 add up to an 11 - a Master Number year.

Master Numbers (11, 22, 33, etc.) are especially vibrant and intense. When a Master Number characterizes a period of time, it's understood that the general energy patterns of that period demand more of people, while also representing the potential to give more in return. I asked Deirdre about that. "Yes," she confirmed. The numerological vibration of 2009 is a mirror, or equivalent, of what Jose and Lena grasped contemplatively, and what astrologers regard as the basic vibrational signature symbolized by the Saturn-Uranus opposition (2008-2010). As above, so below on our Earth: the opposition signals forceful encounters with reality and unavoidable demands; it also crackles with electric opportunities to go forward, creating new ways to live, to organize and to govern ourselves.

Calm and grounded, sober rather than sensational, Jose' and Lena Stevens shared the stage for about two hours. As they spoke about 2009 they detailed and synthesized the insights they had gleaned from meditations and ceremonies they undertook a week before their public presentation.

Big shift. Big changes. No road map. But there are paths. This is what they said. They observed North American culture and ways of life would experience high stress in the year ahead, perhaps more stress than the country has ever been through, citing the American Revolution, the Civil War and the Great Depression. "We have to change," they said. "Everyone knows it, but no one yet knows what will replace it."

Jose' and Lena Stevens said that, as they perceive it, a healthy goal to embrace for the year ahead is acceptance -- acceptance of major changes and new situations. We are well underway with an unavoidable process of re-defining our security, prosperity, consumption, power, and also corporate identity and function in the world. That's reality, and there is value in swiftly and gracefully accepting it. Staying stuck in wishing that things would not change, being stubborn and resisting change, blaming others and refusing to forgive, will be problematic stances that function as obstacles to optimum adaptation.

They said that an effective way to work toward the goal of acceptance in the year ahead, is through observation. While there may be no road map for the changes, a mode of observation would tend to restrain impulsive or panicky behavior. By observing what is happening, and then responding carefully and pragmatically to new conditions, what needs to be done gets done.

They also said they foresaw a markedly emotional year, a human intensity that would be mirrored in substantial earth change and climate events, with a predominant theme of water (too much water as in the case of heavy rains and floods, too little water as in the case of shortages or drought, or ice shifts as in the case of Earth's Poles).

While everyone already recognizes the profound global and national shifts in general, Jose' and Lena said we haven't seen anything yet. Much more is to come. "This is not an ordinary recession," they commented. "It will likely represent the most stress the country has ever been through." They counseled listeners to avoid latching on to that nugget of prophecy, and to let it eat into their souls through worry, for the year ahead also brings great opportunity. They said they saw that in 2009 we reach a tipping point for spiritual awakening and for dynamic, positive sustainable initiatives. Critical mass approaching.

They posed a helpful, guiding question. If massive changes are coming about, then how do we - as individuals, communities, corporations, and nations -- harness the energy and power of the changes to create a sustainable, just, and prosperous life?

The very next night I joined Arielle Guttman and Leslie Nathanson of the Sophia Center of Santa Fe on stage at Body Café, where we presented our regular Star*Talk. When Arielle took her turn at the microphone, she characterized the year ahead and the Saturn-Uranus opposition (2008-20100 in classic mythological terms as the 'Clash of the Titans with Olympus'- an epic encounter that marked an earlier Earth-shaking turn of the ages.

Saturn in opposition to Uranus unfolds five times, marking a span of time when the forces of change and revolution directly confront forces representing the status quo. Uranus mandates change and innovation. Saturn tends to resist it. When these planetary Titans are in opposition, the clash is on.

In celestial collaboration with the long sojourn of Pluto through Capricorn (2008-2024), the Saturn-Uranus opposition symbolizes a foundational shift in consciousness over the globe, evolving most of us inexorably from ideological debates and risky, unsustainable economic behaviors, into a time characterized by an unavoidable need to respond to Earthly realities via pragmatism, restraint, and discipline. The imminent questions revolve not around whose God, cosmology, or philosophy is right, but rather what works? What puts shoes on your feet, a coat on your back, and a glass of clean water on your table?

When my turn to speak came, I noted a dozen likely things for 2009, but spoke most passionately about our food and farms. These matters, I feel, will become of central importance in the years ahead. It's not just the big planets traveling through the Earth signs of Virgo and Capricorn that brought me to this realization, but also my lifelong, professional interest in matters agrarian: our land and our food.

What I have become acutely aware of through researching and writing, as well as through noting the relevant planetary patterns, is that our farms and food are in the ongoing thrall of a blitzkrieg of mutations, a pattern of change likely to accelerate soon.

Because agrarian matters are foundational, they influence everything else in our world. Impending matters of finance, transport, petrochemical supply, climate stability, food availability and human health, necessitate -- right now -- that families, neighborhoods, municipalities, and nations take a clear, visionary look at matters agrarian, and engage in swift, sustainable action.

We have commenced a transition the likes of which few people are prepared for, but to which we all can respond with a wisdom that will reverberate into the future to serve at least the next seven generations of our children. There are a host of positive steps that families, communities, farmers, and corporations are taking, and can take more swiftly and vigorously to establish a wholesome and enduring foundation for our land, our farms, and our food. Those positive steps and models are what I have endeavored to illuminate with the new book.

Immediate, wide-ranging change is a theme I hear when I listen to the call of the land. This call is apparent also in the quiet of mystic contemplation as Jose and Lena Stevens expressed, as in the steady simplicity of the numbers, and as in the timeless, gleaming elegance of the stars and planets. From the transformative turbulence that 2009 promises, opportunities to engage the future with wisdom, can and will emerge. These are the trends unfolding.

People born in the days from September 23rd through October 23rd, have the Astrology sun sign of Libra the Scales. As a Libra, you probably know your basic Horoscope, but did you know there are over (70) days each year that are lucky for you, just because of your sun sign? Just what are Libra’s lucky days?
In Numerology, your birth date is always a lucky day for you. So, add your birth date to the list of lucky days below. As an example, actress Sigourney Weaver was born on October 8th 1949, so she needs to add October 8th to the list of October lucky days below.
Any Day when the Universal day number matches your Life Path number is lucky for you. The universe is in sync with you on these days and supports your efforts. You can calculate your Life Path by summing all the digits of your birth date, and then reducing by the use of fadic addition. For example Sigourney Weaver’s Life Path number is a five as shown below:
Life Path = (10 + 08 + 1949) = (1967) = (23) = (5).
Also, note that, October 4th, 2007 will be a lucky day for Sigourney Weaver. The Universal Day number reduces to a five, matching her Life Path number.
Universal Day (10/04/2007) = (2021) = (2 + 2 + 1) = (5).
Doing this calculation for every day is tedious; however, you can pre-calculate the year and month sum, (10 + 2007) = (1), and then just add this value to the day number, summing the result. (1 + 4) = (5).
Six days of each month are especially lucky for Libras. They are as follows:
For January: 1st, 5th, 9th, 19th, 20th, and the 27th.
For February: 2nd, 6th, 15th, 20th, 24th, and the 29th.
For March: 4th, 14th, 18th, 23rd, 27th, and the 31st.
For April: 1st, 15th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, and the 28th.
For May: 7th, 8th, 12th, 17th, 21st, and the 24th.
For June: 8th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 22nd, and the 30th.
For July: 4th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, and the 28th.
For August: 1st, 7th, 10th, 11th, 15th, and the 30th.
For September: 3rd, 6th, 11th, 20th, 22nd, and the 29th.
For October: 4th, 5th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, and the 27th.
For November: 1st, 4th, 6th, 14th, 19th, and the 26th.
For December: 3rd, 12th, 13th, 21st, 25th, and the 29th.

Astrology, Numerology & Handwriting Analysis – Far From Being Pseudo Sciences

Wonder why people with the same Astrology sign or Life Path number are so different? In Numerology, part of the reason is that your Life Path is made up of different combinations of numbers in your date of Birth. Some people have strong character traits predicted by the presence of completed lines in their Birth Chart. Are you one of them?

Numerology's birth chart is built using a (3) by (3) square; with the positions numbered from bottom to top, and left to right. The whole number digits are used, while (0) is excluded. A square showing the positions for each digit is shown below:

( 3 )( 6 )( 9 )

( 2 )( 5 )( 8 )

( 1 )( 4 )( 7 )

To chart an individuals birth chart, we take each digit in their Gregorian date of birth, and place it in the appropriate square of the birth chart. Zeros are ignored, so the maximum number of digits in a completed chart is (8), though many people have fewer digits.

For an example, actor Johnny Depp was born June 9th, 1963; so his birth chart would look as follows:

( 3 )( 66 )( 99 )

( _ )( __ )( __ )

( 1 )( __ )( __ )

A series of numbers on your Birth chart which form a row, column, or diagonal are called birth chart lines. Completed lines show factors which strengthen your character in some way. The presence of three or more lines shows a strong personality with the potential for easy success on your life path.

Note that Johnny Depp, (shown above) has a completed horizontal row (3-6-9) indicating that he has the Line of the Intellect present in his chart.

The following descriptions show what each completed line means.

This line on your birth chart lets you think before acting. You have good business sense, are tidy, orderly, and work well with other people. You know how to set goals and plan effectively to achieve them.

This line on your birth chart gives you tremendous will-power. You will tend to hold on to a single purpose in your life. Whatever you desire, whatever your dreams, you will focus on them to the exclusion of all else. Even your childhood wishes tend to stay with you throughout your life.

This line on your birth chart makes you personally powerful, and full of energy. Life is in constant motion. While others just plan or dream, you take action. Once you have reached a decision, you will act on it immediately. Your physical stamina is unusually high. Rest, proper diet, and exercise are critical for you.

This line on your birth chart lets you think logically and be a good problem solver. You have a well-balanced mind, tend to be well read and have a good memory. You are both creative and intelligent. You need to work on being patient with those less intelligent than yourself.

This line on your birth chart enables you to give love and spiritual joy to those around you. You have a strong empathy for other people's problems. You probably have some ability in the performing arts. You have strong emotional needs and love, in all its forms, is very important to you.

This line on your birth chart gives you basic good health and physical stamina. You are probably very good with your hands in some way. Try not to be consumed by your chosen career; it may conflict with your outlook on life.

This line on your birth chart gives you the strength of will and fortitude to do many things well. You will persist in the face of adversity and overcome life's setbacks. Negatively, you may have trouble letting go of outdated ideas and plans.

This line on your birth chart gives you the inner peace and serenity to accept whatever life brings. This line is also an indicator of some form of latent psychic ability. You have great compassion and understanding for the people around you.

The modern mainstream scientific community often discredits
sciences such as numerology, astrology and graphology and
says that no proof exists of their validity. Traditional scientific
“experts” sometimes even call these esoteric, empirically based
sciences “pseudo sciences.”
Underwood Dudley, PhD in mathematics and author of
“Numerology, or What Pythagoras Wrought,” calls numerology
“folly” and says, “…there is nothing wrong with mysticism…on
the other hand, everything is wrong with numerology…numbers
do not control events…(numerology is) the belief that things
happen because numbers make them happen…(e.g., 2 is wet
and cold–if your number is 2, you tend to be wet and cold)…I
maintain that Pythagoras was a successful cult leader, and that
is essentially all that he was.”
It sounds as if Dr Dudley may feel he’s contributed more to
the fields of math and science than Pythagoras. The great
philosopher Plato was strongly influenced by Pythagoras’
doctrines, so it’s doubtful Plato would have agreed with Dr
Dudley. Pythagoras is known, among other things, for the
hypotenuse theorem, or the Pythagorean Theorem. He’s also
known as the “father of number;” he established the scientific
foundation for mathematics and the philosophy of numbers.
Aside from excluding from his book virtually all valued
comprehensive numerology techniques, Dr Dudley points
out the superficiality of some modern numerologists’ methods.
This may be justified since too many published numerology
books offer only a glimpse into the complex science and,
or fail to put it in the best context. However, numerology
(otherwise known as number mysticism) is a form of
mysticism and anyone who has objectively studied the
science comes to understand that events and personality
traits are represented by numbers, not controlled by them.
Since his statements against numerology are so strong, one
expects Dr Dudley to decisively invalidate the science. Yet,
he fails to do this.
It’s important to note that hypothesis or theory cannot be
proven, it can only be invalidated. Graphology, numerology
and astrology have never been scientifically shown to be
invalid. Seasoned numerologists and astrologers consistently
predict fated circumstances and accurately identify personality
Although there are few or no documented cases of accredited
researchers supporting the science of astrology or numerology,
the field of graphology has been investigated by academic
investigators (click and scroll down for a partial listing:
[] ).
In order for money to be available to fund research in
accredited institutions, a donor or corporation has to make
a contribution. Do most benefactors indirectly or directly
control and dictate what the funds are used for? Yes. In
today’s world it is unlikely an individual or corporate
donor will designate funds towards numerology or
astrology research; they are not areas that help to directly
cure disease or support the marketing of corporate
promotional efforts.
Contrary to popular opinion, traditional scientific theories are
not unshakable. That which is discarded by the orthodox
scientific community today may very well be embraced by
the world tomorrow. The history of science is full of widely
held notions refuted by overlooked data. Established
scientific standards and belief systems today are constantly
being challenged by new discoveries. Old paradigms are
shattered, and exciting new platforms are established. Some
of these new discoveries and data are publicized, but many
are suppressed.
The 9,000 year-old Caucasian skeleton found in Washington
state crushes countless modern-day anthropological ideals.
The Egyptian monuments and hieroglyphics found on South
Pacific Islands deeply threaten many modern-day celebrated
notions as do the discoveries of tops of pyramids and other
ancient man-made edifices that rise up through the sea beds in
the depths of some of the world’s oceans. Many of modern
science’s cherished ideals are regularly trounced by
overwhelming evidence of more valid concepts. Remember
the theory that the world is flat or the theory that the sun
revolves around the earth?
Unfortunately, there is a herd mentality developed in any
esteemed group and the general population usually places
the “science authorities” on pedestals. If a researcher varies
from the accepted philosophies (or those that are dictated to
them indirectly by their funding sources), they risk becoming
an outcast; there’s too much at stake to vary from the
customary standards.
How do we “validate” the sciences of numerology, astrology
and graphology? For that matter, how do we prove that
unconditional love, intuition, or happiness exist? The inability
to see the stars during the day does not mean they don’t exist.
We are unable to see water evaporating, yet this does not
disprove the cycle of evaporation and precipitation. One
must view the sciences of numerology, astrology and
graphology from an intuitive, unconventional perspective
to begin to understand their inherent validity. Yes,
newspaper horoscopes are like poetry–meant to be
amusing, and applying only a few numerological aspects
towards personality analysis or prediction is like expecting
to get in shape with one minute of exercise each week; a
more thorough approach is necessary for results.

Tarot Readings With The Magician

A question that I am often asked is "what about the number of my house? Does that have any affect on my life?

I know it does, and have lots of fun explaining this one.

Then the next question, "Is it a good or bad number to live with? Numerology invites us to look at all aspects of numbers in our lives. As there are no "good" or "bad" numbers, we need to realize that each number has its own vibration, with both positive and negative lessons for us to learn.

Numerology awakens us to endless possibilities for personal growth. It opens a window or door for us to move through into personal truth and understanding. Understanding Numbers is a clear way to learn lessons and to appreciate growth.

Houses do build up vibration associated with the street address. How often have you walked into a house and instantly "felt" its energy?

It is a natural human gift to sense the atmosphere. This ability comes from way back in our cave man days of flight or fight. As you walk through a house you may have a warm happy feeling. Just as easily you may note a cool atmosphere, or have a sense that a less than cheery energy is around you.

Numerology we can tell us a lot about what lessons are present in our lives by just looking at our street number. Often we are attracted to a particular house number over and over again. Some numbers deter us from moving in.

There is always something for numbers to teach us to think about.

Remember back to a house that you have lived in, think about the atmosphere. How did you feel living there? What lesson did you finally learn from living in that house? Did you move on from that particular number? Or is the street number now repeated again in a different home.

If so, it may well be that all the levels of the first house number were not learned or appreciated. Perhaps you are now ready to learn the deeper level of that lesson, and are still attracted to its vibration. It may also be that the number is in complete harmony with you and you just love to have it as your address.

This is a quick game you can play with a friend and only takes 2 minutes or so...

The trick is to reduce your actual street number to a single digit. As I have mentioned before Numerology is a multilayered study there is always something more to learn.

Whatever we are reading in Numerology (the year, a birth date, or a street number) all numbers must be reduce to a single digit.

For example your street number is 247. Using a simple equation we will reduce 247 down to a single digit.

247 is the street number. Let us do the maths. 2+4+7=13 Continue adding until we get to a final digit.t 1+3= 4. There you have it!

Your house number is 4. Here is a simple list for each number. Have some fun working it out and thinking about your home.

1- Independence

2 - Spiritual Co-operation

3 - Detailed Expression

4 - Practical Opportunities

5 - No Boundaries

6 - Responsibility

7 - Meditation

8 - Business Ideas

9 - Community Action.

It is how we interact with our house number on a personal level that makes it so important to understand.

Some House Numbers are a challenge some are a joy.

Understanding this simple piece of information can make a huge difference in how you live and what you appreciate in your House.

The Magician is usually described as the first card in the Major Arcana. Some tarot readings enthusiasts use The Fool as the first card in the deck as its number is ‘0’. For the purposes of this article I’ll set The Magician to the first place in the Major Arcana.
The Magician consequently is numbered ‘1’, which in numerology means that a situation is about to start or is in the beginning stages.
Meaning in Tarot Readings
The Magician holds vast power. He can make his own dreams come true through activity and effort. The Magician stands ‘to act, do and go forth’. When this card pops up in a tarot reading you may be about to begin something new or are working towards a change.
The Magician is a creator, working to bring forth new accomplishments from the ether. He uses his power to create, invent or construct.
In addition, The Magician is eternal. Often you’ll see one of the symbols for eternity in the card image with a snake devouring itself and the infinity sign which looks something like a figure eight. The projects or changes that are symbolized by The Magician are likely to live for a long period of time.
Description of the Card
In Tarot Readings, The Magician is often shown standing before a table or desk. He may have an arm raised above his head. This shows us that he is a conduit between the different powers of heaven and earth, that he utilizes both in his creations.
You may also see the infinity sign over his head and have the snake devouring itself around his waist as a kind of belt.
On the table before The Magician you’ll see four symbols of the different elements and suits of the Tarot deck. There will be a cup for water, sword for air, wand for fire and pentacle for earth as The Magician utilizes the powers off all the elements for harmony.
The Magician also holds a wand wish shows us who he is in the place of things. This person is the wizard, mage, Magician and holds the keys to all kinds of wonderful magic.
Over all this is a wonderful card to get in your reading. It indicates that you have the power to finish your major creative projects and that they will thrive in the long term.
Special Advice: When this card shows up in tarot readings you are at the beginning of your journey. Make sure you keep the big picture in mind and have faith that your path will be fruitful.

Spades In Cartomancy – Tarot Reading With The Suit Of Danger And Troubles

Accurate psychic readings are not as easy to find as you may think. Finding available psychics however seems to be as easy as going online to your favorite search engine and simply typing in

in the search box. The results you get are numerous and no doubt presents a challenge in choosing from all the options you will find in the search engine results. There are so many choices that if you are thinking you might as well randomly make a selection and hope for the best, you'd better rethink that because getting an accurate psychic reading is NOT a simple process and choosing randomly can, in fact, result in getting inaccurate readings and may even result in you becoming more frustrated than you started out when you were only looking for psychic answers, or what I would more accurately described as real spiritual/intuitive answers.

I have been giving psychic readings, numerology and tarot readings for many years now. I started as an apprentice, which lasted six years before I began offering my talents and knowledge professionally. Since opening my site in 1999, I have probably given more than 20,000 professional readings. I also get psychic readings and have done quite a bit of research so I know first hand what is out there and today I am going to help you with some information that anyone should know when looking for an accurate psychic reading.

That's an easy one. Accuracy is defined as receiving accurate guidance from a higher spiritual source that is channeled through a sentient (psychic, clairvoyant, empathic) human being, who then reveals this information to you. Accuracy occurs when one is receiving information from a true psychic intuitive who has the ability to obtain (channel) this information from a source (higher consciousness) beyond themselves.

Psychic accuracy can be influenced by a number of factors. First of all and basic to any reading, is that you have to be dealing with a real psychic. You will not get anywhere if you are calling a bunch of fake entertainment only psychics found on networks. These are not real psychic readings but rather a business model designed to comfort you by telling you fabricated information (mainly overly positive forecasts claiming everything will work out exactly the way you want, making you feel pretty darn good), which is delivered in the guise of coming from a special psychic ability. There are a number of purveyors of this type of psychic reading, and unfortunately, the prevalent perception of psychics today and what they symbolize has been generated from the strong negative reactions of innumerable seekers who had the misfortune of discovering this the hard way (scripted and cold readings). So the number one factor affecting psychic accuracy is, are you really talking to a real psychic. And this is not as easy as you may think.

Other factors that affect the accuracy of a reading is of course talent, experience and knowledge. Different psychic experts have varying degrees of depth to their reading and sometimes you do have to call a number of experts to find one who connects the best with your energy. You cannot assume that every psychic is using there ability in the same exact way because they probably are not. A spiritual gift that gives one the ability to see or know information from the spiritual realm connects with this realm based on their on subjective consciousness. Psychic thought is not something that can be quantified. At this time, there is no criteria that is used to define, quantify or measure the mechanics of psychic transmission, so normal definitions of reality will not apply here. So you can imagine people are born with certain sensitivities that they experience in their own unique way and whatever that is can be different for every psychic. Everyone who has a natural proclivity towards psychic awareness may not ever even develop it. But if you want accuracy, try to find a responsible psychic expert who is a professional and don't play around with network psychics. There are some good ones on networks but they are hard to find and I'm sure they desire to distinguish themselves from the massive amounts of fake psychics out there. And they should.

Another factor that sometimes can affect getting an accurate psychic reading is the client. If you are not sure about your psychic expert or if you are skeptical or trying to be deceptive or otherwise mislead a psychic, you are wasting your time and theirs. When a psychic is tapping into energy (yours or someone else 's), you can clutter their perception with your deception or other interference and simply get unreliable results. Your thoughts and feelings can affect a reading. Also, I will not do a reading if a client is extremely upset, or saying they want to do harm to themselves. I refer them immediately to mental health professionals. If you want an accurate psychic reading, please clear your mind and relax before your session. Don't bring in your suspicion. If you don't trust your psychic, don't bother calling them. Get a referral or do some research on the web by searching for real psychic readings or authentic psychic readings first. A true psychic is there to help you through your difficulties by reading your energy and those involved in your situation, then give you advice based on what is revealed. A true psychic reading can amazingly empower you in just one session. If you are calling a psychic to be amused only, then you will find plenty of that out there. If you are calling a psychic to get an accurate psychic reading, do some research to find a professional psychic.

Cartomancy is the art of divination using a common deck of playing cards. Spades is the suit of warning of danger and troubles ahead. Take care to learn the meanings of the various Spades in a clients reading, or even your own.
When we think of cards and divination, we thank of the Tarot. In fact, modern playing cards are descended from the larger and more ornate Tarot deck. With the Major Arcana stripped away, excepting the fool, now transformed into the modern Joker, playing cards became simple to mass produce, and were a common pastime in most homes. It only stands to reason, that divination with cards would also pass to the new simpler deck. Originally, the meanings ascribed to the cards were an oral tradition, passed down from generation to generation. Later, with the advent of the printing press, these meanings were tabled and printed, becoming a fixture with parlor games, and with actual believers in this power.
When we perform a reading for someone, we pick a card to represent them in the layout. This placeholder or client card is by tradition either the King or Queen card from one of the four suits. The King of Spades is the usual card chosen to represent a dark haired older man. Likewise, the Queen of Spades is the preferred card to represent a dark haired older woman for a reading. Of course, if you use a card to represent the client in a reading, its inherent meaning as a reading card should be ignored. The new meaning of the card is to serve as a place holder to determine the distance of other cards and their corresponding influences from the client. Cards which fall next to the client card have their affects magnified, and will tend to happen sooner than cards which fall far away from the client card.
Here are the common meanings of the cards in the suit of Spades. Keep in mind that Spades warn us of dangers, and troubling influences in our lives. The Ace of Spades predicts a highly emotional conflict or a failed love affair. It can also predict the death of a friend of loved one. The King of Spades calls for an encounter with an ambitious dark haired man, he will not have your best interest at heart. The Queen of Spades foretells a meeting with a dark haired woman who will act selfishly against you. The Jack of Spades predicts an encounter with a friend or acquaintance who is ineffective in aiding you; he means no harm, but his laziness holds him back. The Ten of Spades is a card of general ill-luck; it foretells misfortune due to your own attitudes or actions. The Nine of Spades is the “Bad Luck” card. It predicts failures for you due to events and actions outside your control. The Eight of Spades is the card of Ill wind; it warns of troubles in the future which may yet be avoided by quick action on your part.
The Seven of Spades is the “Break Up” card; it predicts the loss of a friend. The Six of Spades foretells a calming of troubled waters; troubles are passing, and things are looking up. The Five of Spades predicts setbacks and temporary problems; it also calls for eventual success once these problems are overcome. The Four of Spades predicts problems of a personal nature; Jealousy, worry, and minor illness are all possible manifestations of this card. The Three of Spades is foretells some kind of personal betrayal; someone has chosen to not keep faith with you. Lastly, the Two of Spades is like the root Ace card but to a lesser degree. This card foretells a possible scandal, and deception by someone close to you. It can also predict a separation between you and someone you trust.
The Spade suit can predict possible troubles and dangers for you in your life. These cards, along with the other three suits provide clues as to where your life will take you.
